Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world and is the best-preserved temple at the religious site located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The temple was first built as a Hindu temples by Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century and then subsequently turned into a Buddhist temple.

The religious site acts as a symbol of Cambodia, even appearing on its national flag, and is the country’s’ major attraction for visitors
